Introducing Matthew DeNafo: Our Newest Member of the Board of Trustees

We are excited to announce that Matthew DeNafo has joined the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Clean Cities Coalition! Matthew's passion for innovation and extensive experience in sustainable practices make him a fantastic addition to our team.

Currently, Matthew is the President of the Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA), where he has been making a significant impact since April 2023. Before that, he served as Vice President of Centralized Maintenance & Asset Management and as a Senior Engineer at ACUA. He also co-owns PlayMore, Inc., which organizes adult sports leagues, and Vertical Print & Design, LLC, a custom screen-printed apparel business.

Matthew graduated from the Rowan University College of Engineering with a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering in 2006, and earned a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from Rowan in 2007. He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Rutgers University, which he completed in 2018. His strong educational background and professional journey enable him to tackle complex challenges and drive meaningful solutions.

Beyond his professional life, Matthew is dedicated to community service. He has been involved in various volunteer activities and has served on several nonprofit boards. His commitment to giving back aligns perfectly with our mission to promote and implement clean energy solutions.
